Linthicum Heights is a suburban unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Located just north of Baltimore, it is a popular residential area with easy access to I-695 and Route 295. The area was first developed following the establishment of the B & O Railroad’s Relay Station in 1869. Originally known as Relay, it was renamed Linthicum Heights in 1910 after its first postmaster, Dr. Charles B. Linthicum.
